Elderflower has been hit particularly hard as it is grown outside.

Kale | Excellent supplies and great quality. Not only a super food but a super buy this week.

Mushrooms | Another line affected by weather is button mushrooms; supplies are expected to be very light on this week. We have some excellent small fields available and this may be a cheaper alternative. No wild mushrooms to speak of at the moment.

Potatoes | Cocktail potatoes are limited and expensive. Large Desiree continue to be limited and quite expensive.

Petite Bouche | Humidity and heat has had a huge impact on the growth of petite bouche. Quite a few lines have been affected and numbers are very low. Melons Rockmelons & Honeydews| Great supplies, excellent eating and great value this week.

Watermelon | Seedless watermelon represents great buying this week and an excellent fruit to heat while the weather remains warm.

Nectarines | Season is now over.

Peaches | Fruit continues although quality is now poor.

Passionfruit | Moderate supplies only of regular and Hawaiian fruit.

Plums | Reasonable supply and quality.
